A project in your own AI tool remembers some of your work, but it still isn't an agent, and even if your team builds its own agent at some point, it won't be one that designers trained.
Some teams tell us they could build their own design agent, and honestly, they probably could. But anyone who has run an agent for a while knows it needs constant upkeep, and one that isn't looked after drifts away from your brand surprisingly fast, which is hard to prevent when your team can only give it an hour here and there. Evie works with our senior designers and our founder all through the week, and every correction they make becomes one of her rules, so she keeps getting sharper instead of slowly sliding back.
About 18 hours of designer time go into Evie on an average working day, and more than 20 on full days.
Beyond spacing, type and contrast, our seniors teach Evie what only designers carry with them: the associations, metaphors and references that make an idea land, and the taste and judgment to know when it does. We teach her your brand when we start working with you, so her first version already looks like yours, and if you pick the senior-checked route, a senior designer looks at it as well, but even without that you start from a much better place.
