Segasec

A brand bold enough to stop phishing in its tracks.

Segasec
Client logo
Segasec was an Israeli cybersecurity startup on a mission to kill phishing before it starts. Its machine learning detected and shut down malicious domains in real time, sometimes before an attack even launched, protecting organizations and their customers from brand impersonation and fraud. Sharp enough to earn an acquisition by Mimecast.

Overview

The challenge

Segasec had the technology and the traction. What they needed was a brand ecosystem that could keep pace. From identity to website to conference booth, every touchpoint needed to communicate the authority and precision of their platform to enterprise buyers, investors, and the broader security community. They were building fast and needed everything built with them: a complete visual world, ready to scale.
“
"We're growing fast and showing up everywhere: investor meetings, conferences, customer decks. We need a brand that looks like a category leader, not a startup that just got funded."
”

How we brought it to life

We built Segasec's brand from mark to market, starting with a bold identity system rooted in deep navy and gold that signals authority without looking like every other security vendor. From there, we extended it across every surface they needed: a website built to convert enterprise buyers, a dashboard product experience, printed brochures, conference materials, presentation decks, and marketing assets. By the time Mimecast came calling, Segasec looked every bit the acquisition target they were.

Deliverables:

  • Visual Identity
  • Website Design
  • Product Design
  • Marketing Assets
  • Pitch Deck Designs & Templates
  • Event Design

A success story

Segasec started selling their product early on and had a list of impressive clients. Together, we created a first version of their product’s interface, which grew fast and became a full deep analytic platform for security teams.

Segasec was acquired by Mimecast in January 2020, just 2.5 years after it was founded.

Website design
Enterprise stakes, human clarity

We designed a website that translates Segasec's technical complexity into a clear, compelling story for the enterprise buyers making security purchasing decisions. The dark, gold-accented aesthetic carries the brand's authority through every page, while the content architecture moves visitors from problem awareness to platform confidence without friction. Built to convert, built to impress.

Dashboard design
Threat data, organized for speed

Segasec are checking every relevant new domain purchase on their clients list. This allows a bank’s security team to see all suspicious impersonators in an actionable list, where they can take action against the attacker, like sending fake data by the millions or reporting a phishing attempt to the hosting supplier.

A suspicious domain can be further investigated by the bank, with a full, real-time scanning details screen. An historical view of all attacks can be watched in a detailed timeline.

The system was designed in a bright and a dark mode, and for desktop & mobile.

Marketing assets
Every format, one voice

From printed brochures to digital marketing, we built Segasec a consistent asset library ready to deploy across every channel and audience. The brochure system carries the brand's navy-and-gold authority into physical print, while digital assets are designed to cut through the noise in a crowded cybersecurity market. One brand, every surface, no compromises.

Event design The brand that owned the floor

Conference presence is a credibility signal in enterprise security, and we made sure Segasec showed up like a leader. The booth design amplifies the brand's bold identity at scale, creating a physical environment that draws attention and holds it. In a room full of competitors, Segasec stood out.

Presentation design
Data with a point of view

We designed Segasec's presentation materials to do serious work in investor and enterprise sales rooms: clean layouts, sharp data treatments, and a visual rhythm that keeps attention from cover to close. The deck system gave their team a professional, on-brand foundation they could adapt for every audience without starting from scratch.

Why it worked

Segasec didn't just need a logo. They needed a brand ecosystem that could operate across every stage of a fast-moving company's growth. By building every deliverable on a single, strong identity foundation, the brand remained coherent from the website to the conference floor to the acquisition announcement. When Mimecast acquired them, the brand had already done its job: making Segasec look exactly as valuable as they were.
