Reel Report is a video verification platform built for a world drowning in deepfakes and unverifiable content. Developed by Reel Inc., their proprietary MLVCA technology authenticates video at the moment of capture, locking in geolocation, timestamps, and cryptographic proof so that what you see is actually what happened. If it's on Reel Report, it's real.

Overview

The challenge

Reel Report was sitting on genuinely groundbreaking technology with no visual identity to match. Their brand didn't communicate the weight of what they'd built: a platform serious enough for journalists, legal investigators, and emergency services. They needed a design system that could hold its own in a pitch room and on a phone screen, without losing the bold, editorial energy that makes the product feel alive.
“
"We've built something that could change how the world verifies truth, but our brand looks like a startup, not an infrastructure play. We need a design that makes people take us seriously before we say a word."
”

How we brought it to life

We built Reel Report's identity from the mark up, a bold, recognizable brand anchored in confidence and clarity. From there, we designed a full product experience across desktop and mobile, a design system to scale it, a pitch deck built to move investors, and email newsletters that keep their audience coming back. Everything lives inside one cohesive visual world: dark, sharp, and unmistakably Reel.

Branding concept & logo design
Built to be believed

The Reel Report mark needed to carry authority - the kind you feel in a courtroom or a newsroom. We designed a bold, minimal logo that fuses media and verification into a single, memorable symbol. It's a brand that signals trust at first sight, without needing to explain itself.

Product design
The product speaks for itself

We designed Reel Report's full product experience, desktop and mobile, around the principle that verification should feel effortless. Complex authentication technology sits beneath clean, editorial interfaces that anyone from a war correspondent to an insurance adjuster can navigate without friction. The UI Kit gives their engineering team a scalable component library to build on for years.

UI brand guide & visual identity
Dark palette, sharp principles

We built Reel Report's visual identity around a high-contrast system: deep blacks, confident reds, and clean typography that reads like a news broadcast and feels like a security product. The brand guide gives their team clear rules for staying consistent across every channel, from app store listings to investor decks.

Pitch deck
Data with a point of view

Reel Report's pitch needed to land the gravity of the problem before selling the solution. We designed a deck that opens with the broken state of internet trust, then builds the case for MLVCA with visual clarity and narrative momentum. Every slide earns its place: no filler, no fluff.

Marketing assets
Ready to deploy, hard to ignore

The email newsletter system we designed gives Reel Report a direct line to their growing audience of journalists, legal professionals, and everyday users. Clean layouts, strong visual hierarchy, and on-brand imagery make every send feel like a publication, not a marketing blast.

Why it worked

Reel Report needed design that could do two things at once: feel credible enough for enterprise buyers and exciting enough for consumer adoption. By building every element (brand, product, deck, and marketing) inside a single, bold visual system, we gave them the design infrastructure to grow in any direction without losing cohesion.
